The Local Peanut Company is a popular boiled peanut wholesaler in the Upstate of South Carolina. Driving through town, you can find their delicious peanuts at local roadside vendors and convenience stores.

For their brand identity, I created an original hand-drawn logo using Procreate and Adobe Illustrator. My idea was to come up with a classic-style mascot logo that utilizes recognizable iconography from the state of South Carolina. The peanut is seen holding the “Palmetto Moon” from the South Carolina flag and has the state’s shape in the background. I designed this logo while at Arrowhead Design Group.
